About us

My name is Damion Frey. I’m also the director of a nonprofit organization called MISSION 2 HOOK KIDS ON FISHIN. We help by teaching kids more about fishing. For the last few years, our organization was invited to be part of the oldest freshwater fishing tournaments in the country. We teach children, the fundamentals on how to fish. We also provide kids the opportunity to unplug and spend time outside.

Children that lack the ability or resources that don’t know how to fish or catch fish will be paired with a fishing mentor, so they won’t feel uncomfortable on the day of the tournament not knowing what to do. We also provide lunch, fishing equipment, tackle, rod & reel combos, and we also teach kids the importance of hook safety.
